In Chapter One of the Photoshop 2015 One-on-One course I was taught how to open files as well as close files in Photoshop. The simple way was to go to the file menu in Photoshop and click open then select the file you want. Another way was to just right click the file outside of photoshop then select open with, and click Photoshop. It also how to use Adobe Bridge to open files.

In Chapter Two of the course we were taught how to zoom in and out using several different techniques such as control + or scrubby zoom. It also taught us how to pan images using the hand tool in several different ways like flick panning. It's also possible to pan around on more than one image at a time by checking the box that says apply to all images. Finally it taught us how to rotate and image.
